1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Dog Sledding

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Make sure you book up "activities" before you go. We were disappointed not to be told this before hand, as most of the activities were booked when we arrived at the Ice Hotel.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes very much so. It is an incredible place and the local community conservation and environment is well treated and cared for.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Totally magical and would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the Swedish and Northern European region.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The glass igloo and the Aurora restaurant was the highlight of the trip. We got to enjoy a few hours of clear night sky and a full moon before the clouds came over, and whilst we didn't get to see the northern lights, it was still fantastic. The dinner on NYE with wine pairing was a very high standard, which we were thrilled about. We are both foodies and were repeatedly surprised and delighted with the local cuisine.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

If you enjoy skiing or snowboarding, head to Levi or Ylaas and enjoy the local slopes. Floodlit skiing, with quiet slopes and frosty trees is a great experience.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We met many local people during the trip, who enjoyed telling us about their businesses and lives in Lapland. We definitely got the sense that we were positively contributing to the local economy.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

We had a fantastic time we had in Finland. Thank you so much for arranging the trip for us; I think it's the first time we've used any kind of travel agent and the difference it made was huge! It was so great knowing that everything, including all the transfers and meals, had been sorted for us and we didn't need to think about what was happening next - we could just relax and enjoy it. The app was a really nice touch too.

The food, northern lights and the moose sightings, also the friendly and most hosptialable reception from all the staff. And oh the accommodation, so warm, clean and stylish with amazing views.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The husky dog sledging day - it was wonderful - you get your own set of huskies & sledge with a fur rug. Remember your ski goggles thou' - we had a lot of snow & you can go quite fast (particularly if light) - afterwards hot chocolate & homemade cake in a tippee with roaring fire! Fab. The other thing was just playing in the snow - building igloos and snow slides, the right clothes mean you don't get cold and wet. Also had a really good day at the musuem near the botanic gardens. Very hands on and interactive - great for kids (old & young)- we worked up a sweat with all the activities.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

It is really expensive - wine £10 a glass and sprite £5! Don't underestimate - take some wine for the room! Also don't book your Northern lights tour on the last night - ours got cancelled and so we couldn't reschedule it! The hotel was lovely although the room was small for 3 people.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Definately - we spent a fair bit and the contributed to the community via museum donation etc - also the husky company we went with were very in touch with their environment and the dogs and the level of care - I was glad we were able to support them

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

It was lovely - really good high standards. Victoria (who we booked with) was great and knowledgable. My only wish was she had guided me to book my northern lights tour on the first or second night of my vacation, or suggested I added an extra night in case of a cancellation - it didn't occur to me beforehand that cancelling was a possibility.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The stay at the Tree Hotel was brilliant. The accommodation is great, the food delicious and the people wonderful. The whole experience was great, but probably the dog sledding outing was the stand-out element.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Make sure you have a turn at driving the dog sled! If you're thinking of a visit to the Ice Hotel, go for a day trip, or stay in the warm accommodation. You can see all of the rooms in the actual Ice Hotel, but staying in one of the cold rooms involves a lot of hanging around as you only use your room to sleep in - you can't really relax at -5 degrees!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The Tree Hotel definitely considered the environment - not so sure about Camp Ripan or the Ice Hotel!

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

A great experience.
