1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The variety of hikes and different scenery; The delicious vegan meals thanks to the two guides; The helicopter ride to Landslide lake

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The temperature chart and packing list provided by the tour company were way off. Waterproof boots are a must, especially in the swamp at Landslide lake and so is a down jacket.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The guides purchased fresh food locally; we stayed at campgrounds and the guides followed the "Leave no trace" principle

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

I really enjoyed this vacation. The only recommendation would be that staying two nights at Landslide lake would be enough.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

On top of all the good experience was the amazing landscapes of Rocky Mountains, its blue lakes, white rivers and wonderful waterfalls. Excellent hikes made me challenge myself but it was all worth it!

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Be prepared for down to earth experience with camping, cooking, cleaning etc. participation in everyday duties but all this in good company with other travelers, and of course to all the weather conditions. If prepared, you will have a great vacation!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Indeed. We had all local supplies and activities provided as well as I felt environmental impact as low as possible.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Overall it was fantastic experience with a knowledgeable and nice guide with whom I felt safe all times.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Hiking the Iceline trail in Yoho National Park. Seeing grizzly and black bears by the roadside.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The pace of this vacation is a bit frenetic and there was very little 'down time'. Days started early and every minute was taken up with hiking, cooking for the group (of 16 in our case) and washing up, putting up or taking down tents and traveling between destinations, but, despite the hard work, it was one of the best vacations I've ever had. Truly fabulous group leaders and amazingly beautiful places. The hikes are tough and you need to be very fit to enjoy all of them.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Not particularly, but our guides were very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Canada, the destruction of the native peoples and their ways of life and the devastation being caused currently by the rampant oil industry.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Truly fabulous.
