1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Visiting ancient sites which we'd planned to do for many years.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be aware that there is a lot of climbing up slopes and steps to the various monuments, and, at this time of year, in very warm sun, so good shoes and a sunhat essential. Also pace yourself as some of the climbs up (and down again) to monasteries, for example, are steep and uneven and more than 200 steps each way.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, it employed local staff, used small local hotels and restaurants. Not sure about environmental impact as we had our own car and driver.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
It was very good overall. Comments:
Our driver/guide was new to the job and lacked detailed information which wasn't surprising as he wasn't really a trained tour guide, but a pleasant young man who did his best. I was concerned that he used his mobile while driving and said - when I asked him why he did this - that it was a new vehicle and the 'hands free' holder hadn't been installed. We thought this was unacceptable.

I would like to comment about the environmetal impact that our office recycle paper and plastic and from each vacation package we offer 1% to a reforestation programme for the mountains of Peloponnese.
Also, we can provide licenced archaeology guide but there is a really huge difference in the price. Our drivers are all trained by us to provide the best services and deliver an excellent tour to our guests although the specific driver is new in our team and has a lot of things to learn, we believe that you're finally satisfied.
As we want to offer high level services, we use excellent condition cars and trully the specific car is brand new. It seems that the hands free couldn't been connected for some reason however is really often that the driver needs to speak with the office for details for make sure that the tour will accomplish as planned.
So, we would ask for your understanding for the specific issue.
