1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
It is really almost impossible to narrow this down, every day was an adventure for our expedition. The scenery was fantastic we had great, mountain climbing and also traveling between the two locations provided an opportunity for down time and an opportunity to the enjoy the wonderful scenery from the comfort of our bus. Florian who was our guide and an expert in conservation is a wonderful guide and was there for us everyday, we also had 2 local guides, Azad and Enza who helped us keep safe and happy. There were many opportunities to take photographs of the stunning landscape, flowers, insects, reptiles and birds. Great hospitality where ever we went. Beautiful weather and great accommodation.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take a good pair of binoculars, be prepared to take a lot of photographs. The expedition was a very small there was only 5 of us but Florian, our guide was very good at bringing everyone together. Read all the information and advice provided for this expedition prior to travel.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I definitely feel that by going on vacation with this operator could help to raise the profile of the lynx in the Balkans and that local business could benefit for the expedition using their facilities. On the expedition we all picked up litter and all we took away us was photographs and good memories. We kept to the trials and we did not do anything to destroy or disturb the local habitat as far as I know. I feel strongly that this type of tourism can encourage countries that it is worthwhile to save natural habitats and their inhabitants.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Very satisfying and fulfilling. A beautiful experience to see this part of Europe, it was good to get into the remote mountainous areas, but we also spent 2 nights in Podgorica when we went out for a meal and a wander around the city and even saw a tortoise roaming free near the hotel. I would definitely recommend this vacation, it was only 10 days and went in really quickly, but in this we managed to pack in a lot of activities, as well as climbing, we looked for tracks and checked the cameras to see what animals have been captured on film.
