1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
It’s difficult to pick one memorable moment as there were many! I loved the cooking class with our Turkish family. We cooked our food ourselves with their help and they made us feel part of their family. Amazing food! We loved the water marbling activity in Istanbul and the boat trip in Kaš around the island of Kekova. We swam in gorgeous cystal clean water and had an amazing bbq! Again our hosts were so friendly and welcoming!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be ready to be on the move! It’s a very fast-paced trip but it has to be to manage to squeeze so much in 10 days. Add a few data in istambul to get to see more. It is a vibrant city with loads to do.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It used smaller boutique hotels and locals.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
It was an amazing trip that allows you to get to know the real Turkey. We had s very knowledgeable and friendly guide. A couple of activities (bike ride and ceramic demonstrations could easily be scrapped), but for us, the generally feel is of a well-organised trip that allows family to enjoy a variety of activities and see many Different places!Wayne Smith review 8 Aug 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Cappadocia Home Cooking, walking through travertines in Pamukkale, Kas cruise and swimming, learning Turkish Marbling.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The company haven't got planning and organising this tour quite right yet. Trip notes are inaccurate: advertised pottery class was blatant sales pitch by local company, didn't get to try or learn anything; expected cycle ride had to be cancelled because didn't have bikes for kids even though ages were known well in advance; advertised 3.5 hour bus ride took 7 hours because used public bus which stopped at every opportunity to pick up passengers who paid driver direct.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Got to interact with local people esp. home cooking experience. Arrangement to refill bottles at hotels is good as it reduces usage of plastic bottles. Overnight train journey was enjoyable and reduces environmental impact.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Turkey has a lot to offer families and this Family Tour has potential to be great but felt like we were guinea pigs helping the company learn about and resolve the problems. Tour leader struggled with lack of back office and operational management support.Holiday Reviews
