1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The very warm welcome at the villa and their attitude that nothing is too much trouble. Edith and her family have created a very special place to stay which worked for our family group ranging in age from 18 to 60!

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Do not be put off by the logistics of getting to Ischia - there are frequent ferries and for slightly more money you can take the fast hydrofoil directly to the nearest port of Forio.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes as the Villa obviously employs a number of support staff and the Villa undoubtedly allows the beautiful cactus garden to continue to be looked after, providing a quiet haven and musical evenings at the garden cafe.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

We booked right at the last minute but all the arrangements went very smoothly thanks to the helpful advice from the team. We would rate this as one of our most successful family vacations.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The most memorable part of the vacation was looking at the views from the balcony & the roof & visiting Pompeii.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The hotel is very clean & tidy but slightly dated. The owners are very helpful & welcoming so no worries there. This is not a place if you really want to walk pedestrian walkways are narrow if they exist in some places. Get your italian ears on!! which means make sure your listening for traffic around blind corners. Not one for buggies or wheelchair unless your driving or taxing. If you have never been to Pompeii go as you are so close and it is amazing. Eating at the chicken place over the road is cool but the best has to be Terra del Fuoco sea views about 10-15min walk up the hill Paulo makes the best deserts & will take good care of his guests especially early in the season.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes mainly through tourism but you can go on the roof & see the solar panels which is great not forgetting the natural pool.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

I would recommend this vacation it was nice with beautiful view but the traffic & narrows road are a bit much for me.
