As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
PlanetWe promise to make your vacation to Jordan unforgettable but not at the expense of the environment or the local people. All tour guides in Jordan are responsible for ensuring that the guests understand the nature of the environment that they are in and minimize the impact that they may have.
We send detailed pre-departure information to our travelers upon booking their tour with us. This includes information on traveling responsibly and minimizing their impact on the local environment.
Our business is 'paper free'. Reservations are made by the internet. We do not have a 'glossy brochure' to sell our enterprise. We only advertise through our website, so We try to limit printing on paper and recycle as much as possible.
Through our environmental responsibility, all historical places visited are to be left as we found them without touching sites and dropping litter, and we always advise guests to conserve the environment and not to smoke at the historical sites. Moreover; our local staff are prevented from smoke during working hours. Also we decided not to use car horns excessively whilst driving. We try to reduce plastic waste.
PeopleOur sightseeing tours are operated and led by local guides. We use local drivers and all tour arrangements are made by local staff. In addition we use locally owned hotels and restaurants and all their staff are employed locally. Part of the entree fees to all Jordanian historical sites contributes to local conservation. Concerning local community, we use locally owned hotels and restaurants and their entire employees are local people.
We believe that the Responsible Travel concept has to be a two-way strategy with both the travelers and the local community gaining benefits. We benefit the local communities we visit using a wide scope of activities that have a positive impact on the local economy, directly by donating money to charity organizations, financially supporting some local communities and by recruiting employees who belonging to the local community. We encourage our guests to buy local products and make use of services that people local community offer. We help indirectly through capacity building projects we implement with our employees and through the experiences and culture exchanges that take place between the locals and the travelers during our tours.
