Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Minimum impact on the environment and local community has always been part of what we offer. Being a small company we have maintained that over the last 28 years. And that is why we always run small groups, no whistle stop tours with a maximum of 12 on any trips. On this trip we have carefully selected the accommodation in mostly family run hotels or hotels based locally, with some flavour of local character avoiding stays at just any corporate styled hotels. All this keeping in mind the comfort levels for our clients. The hotels we chose have all got their environment friendly policies of handling wastes and other housekeeping techniques in place and we are proud of working with them over a long period of time, thus not only supporting the local community but this creates a bonding of familiarity with the staff/management and our style of vacations.
Most monuments we visit are being looked after by the Archaeological Survey of India and the fee paid for the entrances (included in the trip price) does include amount for upkeep of these sights and they are the prime body in India to do the task of restoring these building from any environmental hazards. On the other we also visit some of the private palaces which are governed by the erstwhile royal families mostly through funds and all entrances you pay ensure that it in a way contributes to the maintenance and restoration of these sights in a responsible way for tomorrow’s generations.

Our local office in India employ local staff and guides. They will be good to bridge the gap between the locals and you especially visiting less touristy areas on the trip. Though our leader has good knowledge of the region, having a local person accompanying you on the journey is nothing less than an experience. Our office manager who designed this trip has been on the trip and recalls one of the best highlights of it was driving, it could have been stressful but the local drivers not only made it enjoyable they even spiced up the long journeys with their stories about the places we visit.
We will be visiting temples and Palaces at places like Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaipur which have been frequently visited by foreign tourists but as a gesture to avoid hurting local sentiments our guides will ask you to dress accordingly.
Though this is a photography trip, we always ensure the sanctity of the religious places and prohibited monuments is maintained and also respect the local culture.
