Small group adventure vacation
Whether you are traveling alone or with friends/family its good value, and a great way to meet new people! While itineraries are pre-planned there is plenty of free time to explore at your own pace. This trip will appeal to travelers of all ages who enjoy meeting new people as well as seeing new places.Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

The accommodation used on this trip has been selected to support local people, provide travelers with an authentic experience of local life and have a minimal environmental impact. For example when we travel to the Wadi Rum and spend the night in a Bedouin camp in the desert. Camping is a very low-impact way to spend the night because tents are temporary structures. Camping in the Wadi Rum is both an adventure and an authentically Jordanian way to spend an evening. Travelers will be treated to lots of tea and a delicious Bedouin dinner. The desert wilderness is beautiful and needs to be kept clean so we aim to create little or no waste and take all our litter away with us when we leave.
The Impacts of this Trip
We aim to introduce travelers to Jordan’s rich history and traditions during this tour with visits to key UNESCO sites and a taste of Bedouin desert life with a camping experience in the Wadi Rum. We visit the Ancient City of Petra and Umm Qais and Jerash where travelers have the opportunity to explore these sites with professional and knowledgeable local guides.
We are committed to employing local guides and operators on this tour to support the local community by providing this stream of income. Local tour leaders are also able to provide greater insight into their community customs and make excellent recommendations when it comes to restaurants or family-run cafes, which is a huge benefit for travelers as they are able to discover authentic places they might not otherwise learn about. We encourage clients use this resource to their benefit and in turn to support small business owners.
The cuisine in Jordan is delicious and comes hand-in-hand with Jordanian hospitality. It’s part of the experience, so we include a meal at a local restaurant in Amman at the start of the tour and dinner in the Wadi Rum prepared by our Bedouin hosts whilst we camp. We hope that camping in the desert fosters a greater understanding among our clients of the community they are visiting and that something valuable can be learnt from the experience of spending time with desert nomads.
