Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

This tour uses mostly public transport to get from A to B, keeping our carbon footprint low. One of the included activities in Bagan is a bicycle ride. This is the most economical way of traveling around a destination and the experience of cycling around the temples is also an incredible experience for our customers. Our group size is kept low, usually with around 12 people, and a maximum of 19. This means we can stay in smaller hotels and guesthouses that cannot cater towards large group tours.
This tour has an extensive amount of included activities, whereby the entry fees go towards the maintenance of these important highlights. This includes the Elephant Conservation Centre in Myanmar which protects endangered elephants within the area. Using expert tour leaders and guides we make sure that our passengers are aware of responsible travel within Asia and do not participate in any activities that will endanger the wildlife such as elephant riding.
This tour takes customers to see some of the most beautiful areas of Thailand, including the island of Phuket and Khao Sok National Park. By taking customers to experience these breathtaking corners of the world we are educating them in the importance of preserving the natural environment. Our tour leaders explain the importance of protecting the flora and fauna in these locations and advise customers not to pick wild flowers or stray off paths in the national parks. The entrance fee for Khao Sok National Park is included in the tour cost and this money goes into conservation efforts which we are happy to support - as the area is home to endangered animals such as tigers. The activities available in the national park include kayaking, bamboo rafting and canoeing - all which are excellent ways to explore the jungle while leaving no carbon footprint behind.
The Impacts of this Trip
This tour spends 8 days in Myanmar, a country that has, and continues to face many complex issues. By bringing visitors to Myanmar we are giving the local communities the chance to meet and interact with people from other countries. Taking our passengers to Myanmar also helps build awareness of the issues that the Burmese people face, as well as contributing to the local economy financially.
Our tour leaders have great recommendations for local restaurants and markets where customers are advised to shop in order to support the local community. Customers are also advised where the best places are to purchase souvenirs, supporting local craft and artisans while also getting the most authentic product.
Customers are advised to learn a few words of the local language, the tour leader is always happy to assist with this, so that the divide between local and traveler is lessened. Our tour leaders will always educate customers in local customs, etiquette and ensure they are traveling with respect. This includes visits to temples and sacred sites.
