Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

The environment has always been our major concern. We try our best to implement the policy of environmental conservation on every service and tour.

We have recycling information booklets we provide to every client on arrival wherever possible. We do not produce a glossy brochure, concentrating on a comprehensive website, and providing as much information to our travelers as possible electronically, reducing the use of paper and inks.We have also conducted various plantation and river cleansing campaigns, in order to contribute to environmental conservation.

In the field, guides, porters and clients are all oriented in responsible travel. A zero litter policy is in place so that it minimizes wastage in the region.

Most of the lodge we use during this tour care a lot about environment. With small numbers of individuals staying in small properties the impact on the environment is reduced, as waste, lighting etc will be minimal.Lodges used on this tour such as The Park, have environmental practices in place. For example all the 220 rooms in the hotel are lit up with low-energy consuming LED lights. Meals in the resort are prepared from organic vegetables, and solar power is used to electrify the hotel. The hotel is also equipped with e VFD system to maintain water pressure so as to avoid wastage. Moreover, all their garbage bags are biodegradable. With small numbers of individuals staying in small properties the impact on the environment is reduced, as waste, lighting etc. will be minimal.

When visiting Taj Mahal an entrance fee is paid which contributes to the preservation of these sites.

This trip can be best explored if you can walk around, or ride a bike which is easily available . When visiting Delhi we encourage you to explore on foot or by bike - low carbon and low impact ways to explore the city. Using these methods of transport also enables you to explore off the beaten track.

Our Company ensures that the journeys we take benefit the local people and their surrounding as much as possible and any potential negative impacts at the destinations are minimized. We are dedicated to giving something back to the local community.

We only suggest you to buy handicraft from the shops we takes you around, as it will really help the local people to showcase their locally made products which are locally made, using raw material which are found in the area. In Jaipur we visit local bazaars which give you an opportunity to buy precious gems or a variety of handicrafts. Buying local handicrafts such as, sheets and covers supports the local economy by buying directly from the craftsmen.

On this trip we recommend the use of heritage properties in support of the cultural heritage of the built environment.

This trip will be even more wonderful when you get around small restaurant which are locally owned by people living there. You get the taste of food prepared using spices which are locally grown there. In Delhi we encourage you to visit local restaurants such as Sagar Ratna which gives travelers an opportunity to taste authentic local cuisine and support local businesses.

We also organize a small donation foundation where the travelers can also help the locals by supporting one student by giving educational materials such as pencils, crayons, books and paper etc.

We only employ local guides for example when visiting Jaipur palace and Taj Mahal as we believe they are the most knowledgeable about the area and it provides employment opportunities within local towns.
