Our partners behind this vacation promote inclusivity on all their trips and across their business and we are all committed to ensuring travelers face no discrimination on any part of the trip they control.
Accessible tourism overview:
Many of our guests are recovering from illness, injury, surgery or have long standing health issues and a little time away at a retreat can be extremely beneficial as part of the healing and recovery process. It is super important to us that we can offer the very best support to our guests, we have 2 x Doctors ( one of whom is a naturopath ), plus specialists in rehabilitation, counsellors & life coaches on our team, who all work synergistically together to ensure the very best health & wellness experience.
The retreat accommodation does have a lift plus spacious ground floor accommodation & we also offer a private door to door return airport transfer service for our guests. due to our small groups we are able to offer plenty of one-to-one attention & adaptations as required in classes & activities, however due to the physical location of the retreat & the geography of the premises (we are located in a mountainous region & the beach is a 10 minute walk away with an incline ) we also must be honest & state that the retreat complex would not be suitable for a wheelchair user.
Deaf or limited hearing:
We often host guests who are deaf or have limited hearing, in this case because our groups are small we can offer plenty of one-to-one attention. All of our teachers & instructors have experience of working with guests with limited hearing.
We are always very happy to help our guests in any way that we can, & so please do ask us if you have any concerns or need assistance with any aspect of a retreat / facilities that may be required. We are not a medical facility but we have catered for people with bipolar disorder/ ADHD/ depression and severe sleep issues.
'free from' food:
we cater for all of our guests special dietary needs, food allergies, food intolerance, vegan, vegetarian, we are as standard gluten free, dairy free, wheat free as they are the most common foods to which people are intolerant, all of our menus are "alkaline based" & take advantage of the fabulous fresh organic produce that we have available to us here in this part of Spain...we also have 3 specialist nutritionists on our team ( each has their own area of expertise ) to assist our guests if required.
We offer a safe & supportive environment, this is extremely important to us. In line with this we also offer each & every guest sole use of their own private guest suite with NO single supplements to ensure that every traveler has the time & space in which to truly relax.

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
PlanetOur accommodation is a purpose built luxury private gated complex, it was constructed using the principles of Feng Shui, it has its own modern sewage treatment plant which supplies all the water to the gardens. The units are very well insulated so that energy consumption can be kept to a minimum, heat in winter and cool in summer. The complex employs an "intelligent" building system, iHAS, this turns lights off automatically and regulates interior and exterior lights according to the level of darkness again reducing power consumption.
The food served to our clients is, in-season, locally sourced and produced, unrefined, unprocessed and wherever possible organic, this means we can minimise packaging and support local growers and producers whilst ensuring our clients enjoy the very freshest produce possible.
In this region of Spain everyone recycles their waste, both individual households and business, glass, metal, plastic, paper and organic and garden waste.
All guests are informed and encouraged to be environmentally aware both inside and outside the complex, inside by conserving power and water and outside by understanding why it is so important to stay on the designated tracks when hiking or mountain biking, we limit our groups to a maximum of 12 people, not only does this ensure our clients receive individual attention but also less impact is made to the environment.
PeopleThe accommodation we use employs both power & water saving technology, they also have a recycling policy to limit consumption & impact upon services, the venue employs only local people. All of our drivers, housekeepers, health fitness & wellness team members and the spa and holistic therapists live locally , and we use local guides and instructors for both hiking and all of our outdoor activities, this not only offers employment to local people but also means that our clients benefit from genuine local knowledge that cannot be found in a guide book.
The owners of the retreat venue use local suppliers and purchase / use goods and services from the local areas, this is particularly important during the autumn and winter months in the coastal areas as when the summer tourists have left the unemployment rates soar.
All of the unused natural products supplied in our guest welcome bags are gifted to a local children's home & charity.
