Everything is tweak-able, giving you the freedom to build a unique and personal trip for your chosen date. Upgrade your accommodation for all - or just part - of your trip, slow down the pace with few extra nights here and there or add a few more active adventures along the way.

Responsible tourism

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

We are committed to protecting the environment the best we can, whether in Canada or in our Brighton office. In East Canada, we choose to work with a local supplier who is just as committed to sustainability as we are - they try their very best to reduce their carbon footprint by reusing paper, printing only what is absolutely necessary, buying only eco-friendly supplies and recycle as much as possible in their office.

Where we include a whale watching tour by Zodiac boat in Tadoussac we endeavour to offer our customers the best option for their and the animals welfare, ensuring the correct permits are obtained and laws abided to with regards to viewing distances and ethical practices e.g. no feeding of wild animals.

Closer to home, we are dedicated recyclers - making sure all our waste is sorted, collected and processed by a local company so every member of staff knows where it goes and the positive impact you can have with small changes. We encourage leftover food to be taken home so nothing goes to waste and we reuse any paper in the office as much as we can (although we try not to use too much in the first place!).

The Impacts of this Trip

We share the same values as our local partners, ensuring our clients are taken to the ‘real’ Canada in an authentic and meaningful way. Our partners are locally-based in East Canada and comply with all relevant laws that protect the rights of their employees.

In our pre-travel documentation, we inform our travelers on the appropriate customs and etiquette when traveling in Canada, including the cultural sensitivities around First Nation cultures and traditions.

Wherever possible, we use locally owned accommodation that supports the communities in the area and provides employment to the local population. We try to use Canadian-owned hotels wherever we can so that the money from your trip goes straight into their economy, providing work for locals and allowing our travelers to experience real Canadian hospitality. Similarly, we use local Canadian guides for our excursions to ensure the economy thrives with the benefits of tourism and our customers get an authentic experience in the destination they are visiting.

Closer to home, we support local communities and businesses in our Brighton-based office, with daily lunches from a vegetarian catering company, stationery and waste collection provided by a local company and selecting partners based on their values and company ethos.
