We are advocates for leaving a positive, rather than negative, impact in the destinations we offer. Vietnam is home to some outstanding natural wonders and we want to help keep it that way.

In Northern Vietnam, we have chosen to only offer trips to Bai Tu Long Bay, to take the pressure off neighbouring Halong Bay where pollution and over-tourism have become a concern in recent years.

During this itinerary, you will also stay in some great eco-conscious hotels who try to alleviate their impact on the environment. Our resort in Mui Ne was designed and built based on eco-friendly principles to integrate and harmonise perfectly with its surrounding natural environment.

They use biodegradable cleaning products, recycle their waste and have installed a water recycle filter in their pool to reduce wasted water. We include a walking tour in Hanoi, exploring under your own steam rather than using a private car to see the sights.

People

We believe in the concept of 'meaningful travel', of you and the country you are visiting benefiting in some way from your trip. We try to ensure our trips have a positive impact on the community and local people.

In Hanoi, you will learn about city life from a local guide - getting an insight into their way of life can really give you a deeper understanding of a culture as well as sharing your own experiences. In Siem Reap, the resort we use has a program which educated underprivileged teenagers and gave them opportunities to work in the resort and they offer free wellness awareness classes and yoga to local people to promote the benefits of healthy living.

We support local projects in both Vietnam and Cambodia. These include supporting local schools in rural areas, reaching out to people in crisis and improving access to medical treatments.
