Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

During this tour we spend a lot of time in nature, but we never forget to respect it – take all our rubbish with us (and pick up the ones we see), don’t get out of the special trails (especially when we are in the swamp or Parnidis dune), to watch our steps.
We drink our tap water in the city, and encourage our travelers not to use disposable plastic where possible. We encourage our travelers to drink from this too, and bring reusable bottles with them if possible. When visiting small villages, we always encourage our travelers to drink well water, taste local vegetables and fruits.
The Impacts of this Trip
The Baltic states are our homeland and we want to show you the places that the locals know. Visiting places undiscovered by mass tourism also gives us a chance to introduce our travelers to local crafters and their practices. These experiences benefit both the locals and our travelers who experience real local culture. For example on this trip they will meet local fisherman, and taste fresh local meals like freshly smoked fish, caught and prepared by them or try Lithuanian bread, baked by a local baker according to old traditional recipe. We are glad that our suppliers are always prepared to show the best they have, to tell the best they know.
We recommend our travelers visit local souvenir, clothes shops. Since Lithuania is famous for its linen and amber production – this is always interesting for our guests. This is also allows local crafters to sell their handmade productions which is one good way to support local economy.
Visiting locals is not just about the interaction, it’s win-win situation: the tourist gets a high quality, not mass produced product, and the crafter gets additional income. And that is really important for local crafters.
