Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Ensuring that our clients travel with a purpose is of utmost importance to us. Our eco-safari itineraries promote lodges who actively partake in wildlife conservation through the establishment of their own conservation training programmes or anti-poaching units. We strongly believe in passing on our knowledge to younger generations and educating them on the importance of preserving our environment. We recommend lodges that engage our youngest clients through educational Junior Ranger Programmes giving them a greater understanding of conservation and the ecosystem through interactive activities. To support responsible travel in Africa, $50 per person per trip is donated to either Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit, Cleanhub or the, Okoa Fund. $4 per person is also donated to Greenpop per trip to plant a tree and help offset carbon emissions. One of the staff members says she loves working for our company as she is a “lover of animals and believes in conservation and she loves children” and another staff member says “she is family orientated and believes that going away with your family is very important”.
At Shamwari there is a gate conservation fee which all guests must pay directly and this contributes to the protection measures established to assist with providing education for our future conservationists. The lodges we use are really focused on family safaris and have Specialist Guides who offer practical and educational activities for the kids and expeditions that will delight every generation.
Gorah is based in the heart of Addo which is run by the South African National Parks which is mandated by the national government. The park plays a major role in the region's economic development, especially through ecotourism
