As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
PlanetEnvironmental pollution is one of the key issues that we face in our modern world. People, organisations and governments have to be come together and connect hands to protect what is left of our planet. We are very aware of the financial, ecological and moral affect tourism can have on antiquated cultures and delicate environments. We realise that taking clients through this region can have a negative affect on the environment in case of not taken care of responsibly. Travel is only one part of the global climate crisis, but it’s an area in which we can – with relatively little actions – thoroughly reduce the harm being done. Thus, we take the train from Tashkent to Samarkand.
We are a responsible company, interested in the changing world around us. Its very important for our team to keep the environment clean that`s why we clean up not only after ourselves but others.
We are devoted to limiting the impacts our trips have on the environment. We endeavor to reduce plastic bottle use wherever possible by advancing utilize of reusable and filtered water bottles. We ask our suppliers if their products are made from recycled materials. For example our lunch boxes are provided with no plastic and environmental friendly materials.
In our offices, we work primarily with computers. We use emails instead of fax and don't print reports but store them on our computers and in online clouds. All of our invoices, travel data and travel documents to our clients are issued as PDF - not printed on paper.
PeopleWe work hard to make sure your vacation also helps our community. We travel with small groups, which means that we have a low impact on the environments and communities we visit and are able to ensure that we do not disturb local people. All our guides and drivers are local and able to provide far better insights into the country.
During our tours, we strive to support our local community. We try that small scale community based tourism projects, ignored by mainstream tourism, be able to benefit from our visit. We encourage our travelers to spend their money with local businesses by recommending local bazaars, putting in touch with farm shops, offering our local handicrafts. During the tour we will visit Chorsu bazaar where one can find fresh fruits and vegetables, dried fruit, spices, local snacks, sweet cakes, chill tea.
We must keep in mind how important it is to show respect to those local customs and traditions when we travel. When it comes to taking pictures of the people themselves, it is always advice our travelers to ask their permission beforehand.
