Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

Throughout Thailand our tour leaders discourage any activities regarding the use of elephants or other animals for entertainment or drawing tourist attention, as there is no guarantee that they will be treated well and we actively oppose any activity that could promote animal cruelty to any extent.
During the tour we visit Khao Sok National Park, an area of sublime natural beauty and home to an abundant variety of wildlife. Whilst in Khao Sok, travelers will have the opportunity to embark on various nature walks, kayaking on Cheow Lan Lake and tubing on the river, gradually bobbing past the stunning scenery that borders the water. These activities are executed with the environment in mind, ensuring no guests leave any trace of their time in the park nor remove anything that shouldn't be removed.
We also provide accommodation near the center of the cities that we visit, so that visitors can tour the city’s main sights on foot, thus preventing the unnecessary use of vehicles when seeing the sights.
The Impacts of this Trip
One of our priorities when it comes to responsible travel is to promote the support of businesses within Thailand’s communities. All of our tours use local accommodation, local transport and encourage our guests to support local businesses rather than global conglomerates. All of our tour leaders are experts on the region in question and provide insider knowledge on where is best to eat, buy traditional wears and, in the process, gain a truly authentic experience. By utilising local transport we not only support small community businesses but also provide our customers with an engaging insight into the way of life in Thailand. Spending time around locals as they go about their daily lives can be a valuable and memorable experience.
Our website’s responsible travel pages outline the ways in which we encourage travelers to delve into the cultures which they will be faced with when traveling on one of our tours. For Thailand this includes etiquette when visiting places of cultural significance, such as Buddhist temples or historic sites. We advise those traveling with us on how to act in these locations, for example keeping one’s legs and shoulders covered when visiting temples in Thailand is absolutely imperative.
On top of this our tour leaders recommend the best local establishments and markets to find local produce and great meals.
