Honeymoon in Tanzania, safari and beach
Description of Honeymoon in Tanzania, safari and beach
This trip can be tailor made throughout the year to suit your requirements
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
PlanetWe promote environmental responsibility through your honeymoon adventure. We utilize local guides and carry out tours that are not harmful to the community or environment. This also includes practicing our “leave no trace” approach in your safari adventures and beach excursions, meaning we leave as little trace of your adventure on the land as possible. This means leaving nothing behind on your adventures, as well as not taking anything away from the protected lands you visit. Further, one of our eco and ethical considerations is ensuring that our hospitality partners practice local hiring and management, as well as have demonstrated environmental conservation efforts including the use of renewable energy, water conservation, recycling, and a respect for land and wildlife.
One of our eco-accommodation partners is Tanganyika Wilderness Camps who generate electricity by solar panels. Further, all of the water at this accommodation is rain water which is collected during rainfall. They also provide travelers products that are only biodegradable. Another way we sustain the environment is by fielding potential hospitality partners by doing site visits where we undertake informal interviews with workers about their experience working with the company in order to check on local employee satisfaction as well as see environmental impact first-hand.
PeopleOur honeymoon adventures support the local Tanzanian economy. One way we do this is by partnering with local companies including well-known sustainable providers of healthy, organic food and coffee. These partners only work with farms that share their interest in social responsibility and environmental sustainability. This allows us to support local businesses that practice responsible business practices, as well as businesses that create local jobs in their communities. Additionally, we also work with a variety of small-scale farmers in the Arusha region of Tanzania. These smallholder farmers provide organic fruit and vegetables to their community as well as to our travelers, allowing our travelers to support local farmers and their businesses. Our honeymoon adventures also include cultural experiences with the Maasai, a community known for their vibrant clothing and rich tradition. With our partnership with the Maasai, we are able to support rural communities, as well as channel resources into incredibly underserved communities.
