How could we not contribute towards minimizing our negative impact on this place we all call home? Particularly within tourism, we must be aware of the potential externalities our activities bring along.

First of all, we have a partnership with the Travel Foundation, where part of our profit goes towards their projects. These are designed to improve and develop tourist destinations by implementing sustainability strategies, building local capacity to deliver sustainable tourism initiatives and enabling the long-term incorporation of sustainable practice into tourism frameworks.

We also do some of the little things that contribute to build a more responsible industry. Do not expect to use private transport with us - public transport is the way to go and it does not only reduce our emissions but it is an experience itself. We will also be walking a lot, as it is the best way to see those little interesting things you would miss otherwise. Let's not forget about cycling, one of the best ways to explore the city and its surrounding areas. Water consumption is another topic we take seriously; water is a precious resource that cannot be wasted. Remember to bring your own bottle, as tap water is perfectly safe in Czechia and you will be avoiding the use of plastic bottles.

We will also provide you with other responsible tourism tips in our digital guide. Yes, we have said bye to paper and embraced the advantages of technology!

People

The whole point is to provide you with an authentic experience rather than just a performance. How do we do that? We get true locals to show you around. From your host who will guide you throughout the entire experience to the local guides that will contribute with their specific knowledge. Expect a walk through a charming town and forest with someone whose family has lived for over 100 years, as well as a walk with someone who experienced first-hand some of the darkest times this country has lived.

Apart from our local guides, host and suppliers, we will take you to locally own business, where we will make sure locals make an income and where will have a far better and more personal experience. Also, by going to different places, we will be spreading income across the city and the region. Finally, we will leave those busy spots that are suffering from over-tourism for a time when crowds are asleep - It is an incredible way to see these sights!
