The garden is grown organically and in a biologically sustainable manner. They offer a organic herb and food experience and even offer baobab yoghurt. This is considered one of the most eco-friendly farm hotels in the Winelands. They say their philosophy is to keep things as close and true to the earth as possible. The gardens also includes a beehive behind glass where you can watch bees going about their business. They have a Healing Garden where you can pick your own flowers and herbs and make these into your own tea which will help with ailments, as guided by the gardener Gundula, this is known as a healing ritual. The farm has 10 hectares of critically endangered vegetation. They are a member of the Biodiversity and Wine Initiative which means that they have to meet several conservation terms and conditions.
