Our philosophy of slow travel and exposing visitors to artisan Italy means we use small, local and micro businesses where ever possible to supply services like accommodation, transport and sightseeing such as visits to artisan suppliers and our truffle hunting guides. In fact, it adds to the experience on our vacations and is an important part of small business income and we feel also helps keep traditions alive and thriving.

Our truffle hunting experience is with local farmers who many can trace their family history back to past generations doing the same job. Like the world over traditional livelihoods do not always offer a high income and the economic benefits of diversifying into taking guests along to joint the truffle hunt has made a positive impact on the local economy.
