As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

Our Tour Leaders are Mountain Leader qualified in order to look after you in the best way. This training extends to the importance of the protection of the environment in which you will be walking. We encourage our Leaders to ensure we have no negative impact on the flora and fauna in the landscapes we hike through.
As part of our Responsible Travel policy, we advise customers to take reusable water bottles with them on tour. Our local leaders actively do not distribute single-use plastic water bottles. Tap water is safe to drink and they encourage customers to refill their bottles from the hotel or local springs.
The Impacts of this Trip
This center-based trip stays in a hotel in Llanberis. This helps ensure that our trips benefits the economy directly where we stay. In addition to this we have chosen to offer the trip on a bed and breakfast basis so that, with the assistance of our local tour leader's knowledge, you can dine out in evenings and help support some of the many restaurants close by the hotel.
Our Tour Leaders are qualified, professional Mountain Leaders that live in the local area and are well trained in the importance of the protection of the environment in which they’re guiding you. We adhere to a Mountain Leader guiding ratio of 1:12, keeping our group size to a relatively small number means we avoid damaging the trails and cause less disturbance to wildlife.
Snowdonia National Park is an understandably popular area for walking. We have chosen walking routes that are relatively less travelled to avoid and possible overcrowding and human impact. For example we ascent Snowdon using the quieter Rhyd-Dhu trail.
