Public transport is a key point in our experiences. We do not only want to do the right thing but we want you to feel like a local and have a unique experience, so expect lots of train rides. We will also walk and cycle a lot; there is no better way to discover Madrid and its surroundings. Please be also aware that all the info you will receive from us will be digital, we said bye to paper a long time ago! We are also not big fans of plastic and we avoid its use as much as possible. Tote bags are great for Spanish markets and reusable water bottles are the way to go (water in Spain is perfectly safe). Finally, we would like to mention that we will be making a donation to the Travel Foundation on your behalf, so they can keep coming up with great initiatives and carry on with their research. It is no secret that Madrid is one of the most vibrant cities in Europe and one of the most visited ones. Madrid, like many other European cities, suffers from an overconcentration of visitors in a fairly small area. What is our solution? We will show you the highlights but we will also take you to less-visited parts within the city and the region.

We want income to be spread across the region and benefit as many small businesses as possible. On this tour, you will eat at local eateries, visit traditional cheesemakers, visit historical shops that have passed from generation to generation and learn & enjoy Madrid´s wine.

Our local guides will also be part of the formula and they will share their love and passion for their homeland. Join them and learn how to do tapas like a Spaniard, learn about the history behind Toledo´s walls and hear how Segovia´s aqueduct was built 2000 years ago.
