The exchange rate in cuba is not good for Americans so bring extra money
as you can't use cards.
Local benefits?
I hope it benefited them. I know they appreciated the tips. The single use water bottle issue will be a problem quickly as the infrastructure probably can't handle the amount of tourists.

The most memorable was 50 miles offshore Scuba Diving in the Garden of the Queens...this is a healthy reef with sharks to nudibranchs. Maybe the 'steep' climb from the beach to the accommodation might be a problem for some people. But as for everything in Tobago, for every problem Tobagonians will find a solution. Prepare for mosquitoes during day and night time.
