We enjoyed our whole tour from the snowy mountains of Tehran across desert sands to Kerman finishing with a visit to Persepolis and the tomb of Cyrus the great. We will remember the friendly people, amazing architecture, historical sights and the UNESCO gardens.

Hannah (11) loved swimming in the Dead Sea, Ciaran (15) loved climbing, the cycle ride and the history in Jerash, Little Petra and Petra, Luke (51) loved the camel journey, Jo (50) loved sitting round the fire with the Bedouins and trading gifts and tea with the Bedouin women in their tents.

Memorable parts?
There were many memorable bits. Watching the turtles return to sea while the sun was rising, sledging down the dunes with my children, swimming in the Wadi's. Not sure I can choose only one.
Tips?
Don't try and squeeze too much into it. There are some lovely hotels and locations but we often found ourselves arriving just at or after sunset and leaving early the next morning.

It was amazing in Wadi rum to sleep in the desert in secure tents watching the sun go down then get up the next morning to watch it come up very magical. You see a lot of Jordan lovely people always helpful. (more)Barbara Hayers
But there were so many other memorable moments such as the meals out in the desert, floating in the Dead Sea, visiting Mount Nebo. Petra itself is vast and two days is just enough time to get a sense of the place and see the main sights.

Luxor was the most interesting and beautiful. Thrilling to see the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple and Karnak.
Tips?
It's very full on and you don't spend very much time in each place and in my opinion there's too little time at the key sites. Be ready for lots of early mornings, bus journeys and deadlines. The felucca trip is a huge disappointment.

Sailing on the River Nile on the feluca (only the sailing though, the night on the feluca was really uncomfortable - too cold and full of mosquitoes). Dinner with the Nubian family.

Do not cram too many activities on one day - this is advice to the agent rather... the last day before leaving we supposedly would have done flight from Luxor to Cairo (landing at noon) visit of saquara pyramids (which are quite a distance from the airport hotel), belly dancing and...
