Responsible Travel has been in business since 2001, and was set up by our founder Justin. We were the first to use the term responsible tourism and have tried to show we can travel differently and in a way that damages our planet less ever since. We are the largest responsible travel company.
When you choose a vacation with us you can be assured that it has been screened to make sure that it delivers a positive impact – to local communities or nature or both. Our vacations are high quality and run by the carefully selected partners we work with, who are also committed to protecting our planet. Above all, these are vacations we feel proud of, and we know you enjoy them too: the evidence is there in our great reviews.
We have 6000 carefully screened vacations on our site. The people that know them best are our partners who organise and run them on the ground for us. If you inquire through our site you will be connected directly with our partners and we will also give you their contact details so you can contact them if you wish. They will come back to you directly so that you can discuss the finer details of the itinerary, availability and price of your vacation.
If you contact us directly through our Travel Team, they will recommend the most suitable partners to help you with your vacation based on your travel criteria. They will contact our partners for you and explain what you are looking for, our partners will then be in touch directly with you to discuss your vacation. Our Travel Team will also share our partner’s contact details with you. You will experience excellent customer service throughout.
You do not pay more for booking with Responsible Travel and in fact you will receive a free gift which includes giving a disadvantaged child a much needed day out. Our partners pay us a membership fee to work with us and then we work on an honestly basis where they pay us a small commission when you depart on your vacation.
