1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The most memorable part was having tea at Fatima's home in the Berber village, followed by dinner under the stars. Both really beautiful experiences. The most exciting was the day the whole team reached the summit of Jebel Lkest, setting off before dawn to make up ground from the day before, and then making it all the way to our camp for the night.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The weather can be really changeable. Make sure you have the right gear with you, especially for wet weather.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, I think there was direct benefit to the communities we passed through where the crew bought food, where we stayed in homestays if the weather was poor, and for the crew themselves.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Excellent! We loved the adventure.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The mountains were superb! Haven't ever seen anything like them before.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Make sure you have a good down 4-season sleeping bag as it gets really cold at night. There was frost on our first night!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Excellent!!! In all areas - walking, food (in the middle of nowhere was amazing), the rapid pitching and dismantling of the camp, Mohammed (the guide) was superb and friendly - everything was smooth and seamless. I would recommend this vacation without a doubt.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Tea with Fatima, great group atmosphere, wonderful scenery, simply just getting away from it all!

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

It really can get cold at this time of year so do bring warm clothing :-) And protection from the strong winds.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Conservation - not applicable. Reduced environmental impacts - walking rather than traveling around by bus all the time. Camping rather than using resource-draining hotels. Local people - lots of smiles and laughter with the villagers we met.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Wonderful, just want I needed and a great experience for my first group travel. Thank you to all the staff in the UK and Morocco.
