1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Having the opportunity to interact with the community in a casual way in their day-to-day life, including attending church and watching the kids play soccer. Safari was also amazing, with a knowledgeable guide and driver to make it memorable!!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
There were more amenities than we expected, the housing was comfortable, food was good, showers were hot.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, our guide mentioned projects such as a water pump that were installed through the local operator organisation efforts.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
I can't choose one particular moment that was more exciting than another. It was all so wonderful. The game drive with Tabula and Jacob left us in awe. They knew where to go to find the migrating hordes of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes and elephants. The lion and hyena spottings were breathtaking as well. But staying in James' family compound in Ewangan was also quite a thrill. We loved our walking safari with Jacob, during which he told us so many fascinating things about Maasai customs and plant usage. We even saw a giraffe and some 'bumbas' (warthogs) on that walk.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Bring along some school supplies for the children at the preschool--notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, pens, crayons, small books. They will be much appreciated.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, I do feel as if the proceeds from our stay went toward very worthy uses. All of the employees are local Maasai who benefit directly, and 25% of the trips profits are channeled back into community projects, like the health center, IT center, clean water wells, etc.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
I would rate our stay with 10,000 stars if I could! It was exceptional! I have traveled all over the world, and I've never enjoyed an experience quite like our stay in the village.Accommodation Reviews
