Seeing the lovely cities of Prague and Krakow.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Bring proper walking shoes, be prepared that the hotels might not have air conditioning.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not hugely, but it didn't have a negative impact.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Rafting down the river between Slovakia and Poland. Tranquil rather than rough due to low rainfall but beautiful scenery.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Rafting through the Dunejas gorge, then riverside cycle through a thunderstorm with fantastic views. Also the overnight train - the children loved that.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The days were very active and we spent a lot of time on our feet. Our children aged 7 and 8 are quite fit and sporty but sometimes found the tours too much. I think a younger or less sporty child might not enjoy the vacation so much.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes - we stayed in hotels run by locals and had guides who lived in the area and were knowledgeable and passionate about their homes.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
