1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Reaching Ghorepani after walking up 3000 steps and then hiking further uphill afterwards. We saw the peak of Dulagiri peeking out over the tops of the clouds. Manakamana organized excellent guides so I felt safe at all times.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

It's a fantastic experience that I highly recommend. Trekking in the Himalayas has been one of the most rewarding vacation experiences that I've done. It was tough, but worth it. Eat plenty of gurung bread and try the Nepalese rum!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Staying in the tea houses in the Himalayas provides vital business to the areas. Locals can earn a living from trekkers staying in the tea houses. Buying goods and services there helps to support the local economy. Locals have all said that tourism has been affected by the earthquake so it's good to know that I can help in a small way towards recovery.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this company for trekking tours in Nepal.
