1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The game drives were all outstanding and the guides were very knowledgeable and excellent drivers. We saw tons of animals up close. The lodges were beautiful and very comfortable.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The pre-travel instructions were sufficiently detailed. Be prepared for sometimes very bumpy rides. You really want to bring a camera with a good zoom lens. Your phone camera will leave you disappointed.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes for the safari part. Less so for the resort on Zanzibar (plastic water bottles, lots of plastic in the ocean, air-conditioning all day, etc.)4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Five stars for the safari part. My only minor gripe is that the vehicle on the Kenya side had very little leg space on some seats. The vehicle in Tanzania (same make and model) had more space. Three stars for the Zanzibar part. The resort was quite large and of a type you can find all over the world. Not particularly sustainable and the beach wasn't very clean. There are much nicer beaches with lovely boutique hotels on Zanzibar.Holiday Reviews
