1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
There were lots of memorable moments, so it is hard to just pick one. Sukhothai was lovely because of its antiquity and peacefulness and the cycle ride was fun.. The Blue and White temples were stunning, although the latter was very busy. Wat Chalerm Phrakiet was amazing because of the stunning views and nice climb up through the forest. The Golden Triangle area was also memorable for the sunrise views over the Mekong.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The advice given in the joining information pretty much covered everything we needed to know.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It certainly helped to support local people, but not sure about any other benefits.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent. Our guide, Wi, was truly fantastic and she succeeded in making the whole trip thoroughly enjoyable. The accommodation, transport, drivers and food were also excellent.Kate Brown review 15 Mar 2023
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Not possible to identify a single memorable part as the tour was so very varied ranging from local culture, local and world history as well as nature and the environment. All included very interesting and memorable aspects.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
If you want an active, varied and interesting vacation this vacation ticks all the boxes. Having an excellent local tour leader made the vacation stress free and with extra value from her extensive understanding and knowledge.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Our tour leader ensured that local people benefited throughout our trip - through the small individually owned accommodation, the use of local transport, food venues, specialist local guides etc. There was attention to environmental impact throughout and the use of an overnight train reduced the need for internal flights. The vacation supported conservation through the use of specialist guides in the national park and the visit to a genuine elephant rescue sanctuary.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent in all areas.Shefda Cattermoul review 24 Jan 2017
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
It is hard to pick out one thing but it would include staying in the jungle in a treehouse, visiting some amazing temples, eating street food in an evening market before catching the sleeper train, treking in the jungles, canoeing down the river Kwai and the awesome beach on Koh Lanta.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take lots of Deet and diahorra tablets and travel as light as you can. Book an extra day at the beach at the end because you will need a good rest before the long flight home (and the beach is amazing).3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We ate at locally owned places. All trips were run by people from the local area and employed local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
We are a family with two sons aged 17 and 14. We were all entertained all of the time. A great mix of culture, lots of activities and relaxation. We were never bored. Our guide Aor was fun, informative and made our trip a very relaxed one.Holiday Reviews
