1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The Taj Mahal was even better than we had imagined but all the sights were mind-blowing. We felt thoroughly spoilt by all the hotels and the staff and our guides and driver were fantastic. We enjoyed our train ride to Agra. Everything was arranged beautifully and we had a great vacation.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Coming from the UK we had difficulty with a total tipping culture. The hotels we stayed in had centralised tipping which was a relief but we struggled otherwise understanding when and how much was appropriate. We had been given guidance, which was great, but I wish I had paid more attention to what was expected before we arrived. Using bank cards and ATMs was straightforward to obtain cash but useful to try to obtain some small denomination notes when possible. City centers we visited suffered from air pollution and traffic is chaotic with constant use of horns. However our driver was experienced and confident. Noise and pollution may be problem for hotels based very centrally in cities. The hotels we stayed in were fine though.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All our guides and the drivers were local people and they were proud to be showing off their cities. Our guides and driver introduced us to some local restaurants and we visited some small traditional artisanal workshops.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
It was fantastic and everything we wanted. The tour operator spent time listening to what we wanted and arranged things accordingly in every detail. We thank them from providing us with a great experience.Della Saffold review 30 Oct 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Amritsar, Taj Mahal, and Jaipur are a must see.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
India is very crowded, busy, and noisy. It can be very overwhelming. I recommend half day tours instead of full day. You will need time daily to recover.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I was given a reusable water bottle to help eliminate single use plastic water bottles.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
The operator did an amazing job!Holiday Reviews
