1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I especially liked the pre-Colombian artifacts, jungle walks and all volcano activity. I did a side trip on my own to hike the volcano and do sand boarding. I researched this on my own with recommendations from friends. I think this should have been given as an option through the company as it was a lot of fun and obviously a very popular attraction.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Change money asap as there are limited options.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I liked that we used (and paid) local guides. I think the group could do much more to minimize the ecological footprint. One easy activity would be to buy large water jugs and then fill each travelers water bottle. Instead of everyone on the trip buying water in individual bottles. I also think it would be nice to have an opening "meet and greet". It would be beneficial for the group to be given a tip rate - it was never stated what amount of a tip would be expected for boat drivers or guides for one day.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
