Fortunately, we had a car to assist with getting where we needed to go for the hikes. There wasn't any specific information on getting transportation from certain locations post hikes. The company needs to emphasize that there is only one bus from Bilboa to Santander on Sundays; it's a long and expensive drive from Santander to Arenas de Cabrales. Arrival by bus and taxi brings one to the hotel very late at night.Read the operator's response here:

We are always interested to hear feedback from our guests as this helps us to improve the delivery of our trips and/or improve the documentation to help our walkers plan in advance. In the past this trip has got really good feedback and whilst we feel that we provide enough information, we wanted to assure you that we shall look into providing more detailed information about
transportation to get to the start/end and during the trip. Sometimes in rural Spain, public transport is limited, especially on Sunday's and we shall also highlight this more clearly.
Whilst this trip might not look like it benefits the local people, you will be pleased to know that tourism in this remote part of Spain provides essential employment opportunities in the hotels, guesthouses and restaurants and helps to encourage lifestock farming, which is a vital industry in the region.
