Hi Paulette, I am disappointed to read your review and I feel I must answer some of your criticisms as they certainly do not reflect those of other travelers on this tour. In terms of communication, for example, we provide a fully detailed itinerary quite a long way in advance, we also provided bespoke additional reservations for you in Romania. In addition to this we issue all travelers with download and log-in details for our excellent app - Vamoos; this app has all your documents, lots of additional information, detailed maps and useful links to enjoy your vacation to the full. Vamoos has been one of the most successful innovations we have introduced and frequently receives high praise in our reviews. It now includes a live messaging function which you made use of during your trip. As it happened we had some people pull out of this trip relatively late and so you and one other fellow traveler enjoyed almost a private tour with our excellent guide, Mihai. Everything in the tour itinerary was still included, Mihai will have provided very good guiding and information each day and I know that you certainly enjoyed the food as Mihai just allowed the two of you to go "a la carte" throughout. I agree, of course, that the days of individually packaged items are limited but this doesn't mean that the packaging and products themselves were not to some extent environmentally friendly. We do an audit of our main partners each year to discover just how they approach such matters. Once again, I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the tour to the full on this occasion.
