1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Siem Reap temples, Hoi An, Cooking Class., Ho Chi Minh City War Museum and presidential palace. We learnt so much from the local guides2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take some warm clothes and a poncho - the weather varies enormously from North to South Vietnam. The trip was quite full on so the couple of days we added on in Siem Reap were great and I would recommend it if you have the time. We organised a Birding Trip on Sonle Tap Lake with Osmose, visited the hero mine clearing rats and relaxed by the hotel pool3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes certainly benefitted local communities - hotels were not international chains and we were able to buy things from local communities who had made things. Not sure about environmental impacts....4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Ha Long bay trip on luxury junk extra trip to Tong-le Sap lake with its houses on tall stilts. Towns of Hoi- An and Hue. Cambodian temples of course-- loved Siem Reap-great town & Cambodians are lovely polite people2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
prepare for air pollution in Hanoi & Saigon. No need for insect repellent or injections or even suncream if covered properly. Cambodia was hot and atmosphere sometimes humid and 'close'3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Benefited local people in tourist trade-- not the other two points4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Yes to benefiting local people. Too much plastic around in bottles, bags and wrappings.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
