1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Loved everything about Laos: the scenery, the trips, the hotels (with one exception) and the people. The bits of Cambodia we did were also very special (particularly Siem Reap and the Khmer Rouge-related tour in Phnom Penh), but overall we are more likely to go back to Laos than Cambodia (which was a bit more busy and developed than we'd have liked, ideally).2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Push for alternative options for hotels/ rooms if not satisfied with what is offered in the tour company's initial proposal. Also be firm with your choice of trips you want to do.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Probably, but hard to tell as no info was given on why the particular hotels had been chosen. Most trips seemed relatively low impact, but again we don't really know. We just had to trust the tour company, whose philosophy we did buy into.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
