1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The stunning beauty of the landscape, the adventure of traveling to different Islands, getting on and off the little motorboat between the ship and the land, the blue, blue sea and sky! It was all fabulous along with the food and care from the crew. I will remember sitting and painting the view, on and off the ship.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Just follow the instructions they give you. Take all medications that you need with you as out of reach of doctors, chemists etc. Binoculars were really useful. Perfect for single travelers too.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

It was absolutely fantastic! The best vacation I’ve had for ages. We were looked after so well and everything was done to make our adventure enjoyable. 1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
One of my top memorable moments was going ashore with Harvey (bosun/mechanic/steward etc...) to get fresh mussels for dinner and having them expertly prepared by Abby the chef. Others included experiencing the vastness of the landscape from the water, seeing rainbows everyday, hiking around towns and castles, visiting the distillery, and sharing the experience with strangers who fast became new friends. The opportunity to explore some art techniques in this beautiful environment added a different dimension of experience to the trip.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
My notes to future travelers: 1.) Make sure to have the waterproof outerwear recommended as it did rain everyday, sometimes multiple times, and having the right clothing made it comfortable to continue exploring whenever the weather turned. 2.) The food is excellent and plentiful! (you can ask for smaller portions if it is too much!) 3.) If you haven't slept on a boat before (or are a light sleeper) bring earplugs as some motors run throughout the night. 4.) Be prepared to climb up and down the ladders (these are steeper than your steps at home) or hoist yourself into a berth (depending on your room) - you will get the hang of it quickly!) and 4.) Engage your fellow travelers in conversation as everyone brings very interesting stories and perspectives to the experience. Enjoy it all!3. Yes. I know that much of the food was sourced locally and there were opportunities to explore shops and pubs along the way. I always look and ask for locally made items when looking for gifts etc. and I found that there were a number of shops that highlighted local artisans.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
This was an excellent adventure in many ways! As a solo traveler, I really didn't know what to expect and how I would get along within the group. Everyone was very friendly and looked out for each other throughout the entire trip. have layered clothes. You need waterproof clothes and shoes. Bring a good camera, but use your cell phone for back-up if it is raining.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
