Viewing wild animals in their natural habitat pursuing their normal routines.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The month of August is colder than I expected due to high altitude. Be prepared.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
There is no doubt that if you want to see animals this is the vacation for you. Vast herds, close ups of cheetahs, lions and leopards and iconic savannah scenery its all there and the guides work very hard to make sure you get that picture. Highlights for us included watching a mother cheetah and her cubs take a reed buck , watching hyenas and vultures hovering around a lion's kill and of course the elephants.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
We were advised you could get a Tanzanian visa at the border. This is true but it would have eased our passage if we had booked online before the trip. If you are into photography, you need a good zoom lens. Better I think to take a pair of binoculars and enjoy the moment.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Apart from visiting one of the many Masai Villages and in contrast with other vacations we have booked through you, we saw little involvement with the local people. We were disappointed to find that our Tanzanian Operator relied heavily on individual plastic bottles of water and were not able to reassure us about recycling. The amount of plastic by the roadside was distressing. There were an awful lot of safari vehicles in some reserves which we felt had less to do with conservation and more to do with money.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
We enjoyed the vacation, it was well organized and the accommodation was good, but we felt that in some cases particularly at the Ngorongoro Crater there were just too many people being taken through the reserves. Serengeti is overrated. 3 days would have been enough. Also, the road to Lake Natron was terrible and would have caused a problem for someone with back or neck problems.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The places we stayed at seemed environmentally conscious and employed local people but if there was more going on, we didn’t see it.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Saw trees previously planted but struggling to survive. When we planted a tree the ground wasn't watered first meaning the roots would be dry.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Exceptional. Both driver/guides completely different but good. Pollmans vehicle more spacious/ more comfortable than Tanzanian vehicle.Holiday Reviews
