1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
As someone who has never been to a sand desert before, I absolutely adored the time in the Sahara and the camp there. It's a stunning experience. I also wholly enjoyed the optional canyon and oasis tour, and I loved the time we spent in Tamerzet and Matmata, finding out about the Berber life and visiting a Berber family in their home.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
To keep in mind that this is a very fast-paced tour. Meaning, there will be moments where you wish you could spend more time on. I knew that in advance and yet got disappointed that certain stops were shorter than I wished them to be.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I don't think tourism could ever benefit local people (except maybe that I'm very bad at bargaining and the sellers got more from me than they usually would have), but I did appreciate finding out that the hotel in Touzer has its own well and doesn't tap into the water the local people desperately need, or how the camp in the Sahara offered comfort without being luxurious - meaning, we didn't have proper showers but a bucket of water to pour over, which reminds you how precious water is there. So our stays for certain reduced enviromental impacts.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Highly enjyoable! We saw a lot in so little time we had, and I loved that. I also like how this tour has a nice mix of nature, history, tradition, and culture.Alma Sarajlic review 28 Apr 2026

Most restaurants do not serve alcohol. The concept of starter and main course does not exist,despite description on menu-they bring all food at the same time-So order one at the time…3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
