Remember waterproofs and a water bottle. Also give dietary requirements/likes/dislikes well before you go so the guides are aware and prepared.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We really enjoyed the 10 km walk through the villages of Magura and Pestera.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
I would strongly recommend taking the option of a driver/guide. Their Guide Charlie is excellent!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes - as far as is possible given the type of vacation.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
This vacation was excellent. We travelled 1,800 kms round Transylvania and saw rural life, walked in rural settings, visited medieval churches and fortified Saxon villages. Despite there being many around, we didn't spot a bear!Holiday Reviews
