1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Working with animals and the kids having the chance to see the animals up close

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The accommodation is quite basic, but we were prepared for that! The accommodation is also very remote, which is perfect if you're looking to get away from it all (which we were!) but if you need cell service and high speed WiFi, you won't get it here. The food also ran quite low by the end of the week, so you need to keep an eye on it and mention it to the owner as he doesn't really monitor it.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We were surprised that the Blue Banyan Inn wasn't more eco-friendly - there were no recycling bins and nothing was solar-powered. It definitely supported conservation with the animal sanctuary looking to heal and release as much wildlife as possible. Apart from the women working in the kitchen and the grounds staff we're not sure how much it benefited local people

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

We had an amazing time and we definitely have some wonderful memories that the kids will have forever. There were a few niggles at the Blue Banyan - the room not being cleaned for the entire time we were there, the food running low, and laundry not being free as per our pre-trip info sheets - but it was a great vacation and we came back very relaxed and would recommend it to others!
