1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Walking the walls in the old towns. Meeting some really great people to wine and dine with.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
There is a lot of walking. The hotels are all uphill. Plus you walk from the ferries to the hotels and vis versa. The luggage get taken but you walk, often with a tour through town first. No free water in Croatia. They have few water fountains and try to only sell bottled water in the restaurants. Even some hotels had no place to get water to fill your own bottles. And it’s a good water! Don’t need hiking boots. Shoes and sturdy sandals are fine. Rocky beaches so water shoes if you plan to swim and there is time and places for swimming.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not particularly. We walked a lot so less cars on the road. But with the tour busses, taxis and Ubers, I’m not sure we made a difference. All the hotels were away from the town centers a bit.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
I really enjoyed the group, the guide, most of the spots we visited. The food was good. The ferries were a fun experience although we had a full one and a really rough ride. The people were mostly friendly and mostly helpful.Read the operator's response here:
’We appreciate and read all the feedback sent to us. As a result, we have made some improvements for our 2024 itinerary. The hotels are now more centrally located which help reduce the carbon emission by limiting the number of journeys to and from the center and we are also visiting the less busy and lesser-known island of Brac instead of the popular Hvar.
