I loved the tubing the most. Husband and teenagers loved the canyoning and zipline activities the most. The 4 star hotel was fantastic, especially the location on the beach and so close to the town. Staff and everything in the hotel was superb.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Do the ziplining, enjoy wonderful views. it's easy and exhilarating. Bring a few swim costumes as the activities are water based. Rash vests and water shoes are a good idea. Join in and enjoy everything as the week goes quickly. Guides are very knowledgeable, so take their advice about restaurants and other local activities.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. Employs locals and with recommendations of good local Croatian restaurants, we used those too. We brought our own fabric bag for shopping, but the adventure company running the vacation provides reusable eco friendly bags as well, to reduce plastic waste.4. We loved meeting other people. It's been a great way for my 16 year old to mix with like minded teenagers of similar ages. Favorite activities were white water rafting and canyoning.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

White water rafting. Well looked after and suitable for family adventures. Hike to the hilltop fortress is worth the view.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Long sleeve rash vest, to protect skin and save on sun cream. Water shoes is a must for pebble beaches. Omis has a large sandy beach on the hotels doorstep, but the pebble beach 10 minutes walk left along the coast is a must. Very clear waters.3. Yes. All guides were local born and bred and passionate and informative of Omis.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
An amazing activity vacation that can easily cater for children from 12 to 21 and those older too. Our Tour Leader Barisa is passionate, enthusiastic and has been amazing all week. From catering food requirements, helping confidence levels and adding his personality to the trip. Outcome was an amazing week of activities that not everyone thought they could do at the start. Stop going to Spain and come to Croatia. Everything is organised for you. Relaxed parents and happy children.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Natural activities, with no impact on environment. We always used local companies and local restaurants.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Canyoning and zip-wiring with the group and the Omiš beach aqua park not with the group. The beautiful Croatia landscape is probably the lasting memory.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
If you have older children don’t expect them to meet other older children. Our group was mainly 10-11 yr olds. We would recommend doing all the organised trips but also going on a trip to the blue lagoon, which is not currently on the itinerary. Also visit Krka national park.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We used local restaurants for evening meals so that would have benefitted. The organised ‘Gala’ meals were not good, especially for children where the fish option was extremely un-kid friendly and which most kids did not eat, and there were offered only water to drink whilst the adults had wine. The first gala meal on the day of arrival served very late, and when dessert came out it had gone 10pm and a lot of the young kids had gone to bed.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
A lot of the positive feeling of the vacation at the end of our vacation was down to our guide, Barisa, who was fantastic and kept both kids and adults amused and entertained. However, the company must be clearer on the profile of kids on the trip; we were told and expected 13-17 year olds but our group consisted of kids that were 10 and 11. This made it extremely difficult for our 16 year old who was expecting other children his age. This was the only reason we booked the vacation and for us it feels like a wasted opportunity for him. Given the cost of the vacation and the fact that we were expecting older kids I’ve given the vacation 2/5.Holiday Reviews
