1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Place is beautiful. Our hosts were attentive, thoughtful and willing to amend itinerary to suit variables such as the weather! ALL the excursions were excellent. Food was good and we had some great picnics! Art tutor Tony knew his stuff and delivered excellent lessons with humour.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The family run villa, the excellent food and the knowledgeable encouraging tutor. It was a wonderful week and I can strongly recommend it to anybody who is interested in painting and having a lovely vacation. We all felt well looked after by the hosts who had also organised interesting trips out with delicious picnics.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Come relaxed, bring your swimmers and have a good time.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We were taken to local markets and events. We were encouraged to try local food and wine. Our hosts were environmentally aware and took trouble with keeping everything local and supported.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Staying in a beautiful house run by the super Jill and Terry, in a lovely part of France. Meeting a brilliant tutor and great group of fellow enthusiastic artists. The whole week was brilliant!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Can’t name just one thing. The whole experience was wonderful. The villa was lovely, the instructor was wonderful and personable and friendly and talented. The whole group was so much fun. We laughed a lot and learned a lot as well.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
You will have a wonderful experience. Jill and Terri and their son Tierry are wonderful hosts. Jill is a wonderful chef and our meals were delicious.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I think the vacation does benefit local people as we are all vacation make makers who are happy to buy goods and services – meals and coffees and mementos.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

All the on site sketching / painting in beautiful small countryside villages2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be prepared to move beyond your typical way of doing things. Each of the attendees had something to bring to the table, as well as the instructor. Lots of great input helped me develop new skills. Also, it was way more exhausting than I had expected. The concentration on ‘seeing’, sketching and learning was more than I expected. But that is what made this time so valuable.3. The fact that we were always in small villages, where we were often the only ‘tourists’ was great. We were also encouraged to visit the local cafes and shops.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Staying in an absolutely beautiful house with fabulous hosts who served incredible food and made us really welcome. Also being with a great bunch of like minded people who started as strangers and quickly became friends. Our tutor was excellent too and lots of fun.2.
