Reviews for Namibia luxury fly-in safari
Anthony Collins review 3 Nov 2025
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Dawn at Sossusvlei. Flying over the dunes the next day. The bleakness of the Skeleton Coast. Quadbiking on seas of sand. Driving across endless expanses of desert. The sky at daybreak - at sunst - at night. Encountering Giraffes, Elephants, Lions, Rhinos, Zebras and a host of other animals in their natural habitat. The genuine warmth of the staff and guides at the Lodges. All of it.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take sufficient warm clothing when going on early morning safaris. Useful to always keep a water bottle near to hand as the air is very dry. One can exchange cash at Windhoek International Airport in safety and at correct rates.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
In general, yes. All of the Lodges we stayed in appeared to take the protection of the harsh and isolated environments where they are located very seriously.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
