1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The camel ride in the desert was brilliant. The Hassan II Mosque in Fez was incredible. The visit to the fossil factory was amazing. It was all very interesting.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
If you like beer or wine buy it in the supermarket. None of the hotels sold alcohol. They were all ok with storing it in their fridges.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Provided local employment and trade. Raised awareness of local customs. Reusable water bottles are a must! The Argan Oil Cooperative was good.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
I enjoyed the vacation very much, it was all very interesting. However for me one visit to The Souks (Fez) would have been enough; Marrakech was same old same old. The visit to the Palace was great and then The Secret Garden would have been better instead of the Souks again!Cecile Manning review 16 Mar 2026

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Many highlights but the camelback ride at sunrise over the desert sands was magical as was the drive through the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be prepared to spend a lot of time in a vehicle traveling from one place to another. This was comfortable and we had a good driver, but if spending a lot of time traveling isn't your thing, this probably isn't the vacation for you. The tour covers a lot of miles in a week!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Local guide was great and very informative about local history and culture. We had a meal in a house prepared by a local family, which was a great way of seeing how local people live. The tour operator donate funds to local animal welfare charities. Plastic pollution is a huge problem across the country so making guides and visitors more aware of this issue would be good - e.g. refusing plastic bags in shops etc - they are a menace!4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
An excellent experience with a kind, courteous and informative guide. A very good introduction to the highlights of Morocco but quite a whirlwind tour. If going there again I would like to sample a few places for longer to soak them up a bit more.Holiday Reviews
