Reviews for Learn Spanish in Costa Rica

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
First thing that comes to mind is the food! Delicious, varied and plentiful. We enjoyed getting to live at a beautiful tropical property, getting to work on some of the conservation projects, and exploring the coast.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Book at least two weeks! I recommend the Spanish lessons and volunteering but also allow time to book some tours and explore the beaches. Renting bicycles is the best way to get around. The weather on the Caribbean coast is different from the rest of the country so check when is best to do the activities you most want but also be ready to 'play it by ear'. No guarantees but whatever you get to do, it will be special.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
On this vacation we enjoyed getting to personally make a small contribution by doing a beach clean up, sorting recycling, and re-using the plastic to create new products. The host company is a local resource for environmental and social good, by volunteering we felt good supporting those programs. The guides they hire for tours are local people who love their area and sharing it with visitors.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
This was our first volun-tourism vacation and we are inspired to do more! The host company made it easy for us to get involved, they provided lovely low-key housing in an amazing part of Costa Rica, and helped us book excursions.Holiday Reviews
